Gods show possibilities for transformation. The holes let us question our allegiance, our faith. They let us see the work of the prismatic god, who hides in its labour. In becoming aware of the holes, we become aware of the prismatics and the prismatic god — we become aware of its work.
(The way the prismatic god hides is how the One came to be; for its self-effacing carries the shadow of the One.)

Rather than stop up our ears, tied to the mast of the ship, we hear the many calls.
