To be in the midst of such groups, for example in a forest, is to be in the midst of a community—perhaps a cacophony—of gods. Being in a forest can precipitate a transformation because it’s a place where the holes in the world are pronounced (§3.3).
Yet, while I’ve spoken of possibilities within and of our world, I haven’t spoken of paying tribute to other prismatic gods. We may call them spiritualities.
